Senior/ Mid Level Procurement Specialist

Experience Level Mid-Level Senior-Level As a Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for sourcing raw materials managing vendor relationships negotiating contracts and optimizing the procurement process to support our production operations You will play a key role in ensuring timely delivery of materials maintaining cost control and meeting quality standards Key Responsibilities Source and procure raw materials e g iron ore scrap metal alloys and other necessary items for production Evaluate supplier performance and develop strong vendor relationships Negotiate pricing terms and contracts with suppliers Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production and logistics teams to avoid shortages or overstocking Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations Maintain accurate procurement records and reports Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or related field Minimum 3-5 years of procurement experience preferably in a steel or heavy manufacturing environment Strong negotiation and communication skills Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software Knowledge of raw material markets and import export regulations is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Job Type Full-time Pay Up to 35 000 00 per month
