Hi All We are having urgent opening for Payments Auditor with one of our MNC client Gurgaon Payments Auditor - EST Shift Initially then 3pm to 12am Experience - 6 to 8 Years Budget - 12-13 LPA Pointers - Knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to payments financial transactions especially from US standpoint Position Summary We are seeking a Payments Auditor with SQL Database Experience to join our financial auditing team The ideal candidate will be responsible for examining and verifying financial transactions related to payments made and received by the company This role requires a strong background in auditing financial analysis and expertise in SQL databases to extract manipulate and analyze data The Payments Auditor will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of payment records Key Responsibilities 1 Payment Verification - Review and audit payment transactions to ensure they comply with company policies and industry standards - Confirm the accuracy of payment amounts payment recipients and payment methods - Identify discrepancies errors or irregularities in payment records and investigate their causes 2 Data Extraction and Analysis - Utilize SQL database queries and other data retrieval tools to extract payment-related data from company databases - Analyze the extracted data to identify trends anomalies and potential issues - Prepare reports and summaries of payment data for auditing purposes 3 Compliance and Documentation - Ensure that payment processes adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies - Maintain comprehensive documentation of payment audit procedures findings and recommendations - Work with internal teams to rectify any non-compliance issues and recommend process improvements 4 Reporting and Communication - Create detailed audit reports summarizing findings and conclusions - Present audit results to management and stakeholders providing insights and recommendations for improvement - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and monitor their effectiveness 5 Continuous Improvement - Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in payments auditing and data analysis - Suggest and implement process enhancements and system improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Qualifications - Bachelors degree in finance accounting or a related field - Proven experience in financial auditing and payments auditing - Proficiency in SQL database querying and data manipulation - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy - Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to payments and financial transactions - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and in a team - Organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines This job description for a Payments Auditor with SQL Database Experience outlines the core responsibilities and qualifications required for the role The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of payment processes while leveraging SQL expertise to analyze payment data effectively If interested please send your updated profile on gareema awasthi cielhr com
