Job Description - PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN INTERNAL VACANCY ONLY OPEN TO CURRENT NHS SCOTLAND STAFF ** OUR VALUES IN ACTION - Care and Compassion - Quality and Teamwork - Dignity and Respect - Openness, honesty and responsibility Fixed term/secondment for 12 Months An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Borders General Hospital for a flexible, enthusiastic individual to join the Endoscopy Unit to take forward the qFIT patient project. To undertake this role you should have a first level registration, relevant study to support your application and experience within Endoscopy or GI is desirable. The post holder is responsible for the assessment of care needs for patients on the surveillance colonoscopy waiting list. The postholder will maintain clinical expertise by carrying a clinical caseload, requesting and interpreting laboratory investigations and co-ordinating treatment and care for this patient groups.
