Job Description We are looking for a dedicated Senior QA Engineer who will be responsible for the quality assurance of our software products from concept through deployment. You will be a key member of our product development team, working closely with product owners, developers and other stakeholders to ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of performance, reliability and user experience. What you will do: - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases and automated scripts for web, mobile and backend systems. - Review and analyse product requirements, design documents and user stories to understand testability and anticipate potential issues. - Identify, record, track and monitor bugs and quality issues; ensure appropriate regression testing and verification of fixes. - Lead or mentor Mid QA engineers, providing guidance and reviewing their work. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, PM, UX) to ensure quality is built in throughout the lifecycle. - Define and monitor QA metrics (e.g., defect density, open defect counts, test coverage) and drive continuous improvement in QA processes. - Participate in release readiness discussions, ensure that non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security) are addressed in testing. - Contribute ideas for improving automation frameworks, tooling, and testing efficiency in a fast-paced, startup-style environment. Requirements Essential qualifications & experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. - 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including both manual and automated testing. - Strong experience with test automation tools and scripting (for example: Cypress, Playwright, etc). - Proven ability to design and execute test strategies for complex applications (web, API, mobile). - Solid understanding of database testing and proficiency with SQL. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, and ability to collaborate with global teams effectively. - Comfort working in a startup-style environment where requirements evolve quickly and ownership is expected. Good-to-Have Skills: - Experience with performance, load, security testing. - Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS). - Prior experience in SaaS, manufacturing/industrial systems or OEM software. - Previous experience mentoring QA engineers or leading QA initiatives.
