Company overview TraceLink s software solutions and Opus Platform help the pharmaceutical industry digitize their supply chain and enable greater compliance visibility and decision making It reduces disruption to the supply of medicines to patients who need them anywhere in the world Founded in 2009 with the simple mission of protecting patients today Tracelink has 8 offices over 800 employees and more than 1300 customers in over 60 countries around the world Our expanding product suite continues to protect patients and now also enhances multi-enterprise collaboration through innovative new applications such as MINT Tracelink is recognized as an industry leader by Gartner and IDC and for having a great company culture by Comparably Market Development Representative - Phase 3 Specialist Company overview TraceLink is a global software company with offices in Boston Barcelona Pune Mumbai and Singapore Founded in 2009 we have over 1 600 customers including 16 of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies TraceLink s digital network is used by more than 290 000 Healthcare and Life Sciences entities around the world to digitalize supply chain operations between trading partners to create the visibility required to protect the medicines that patients rely on to lead healthier lives is recognised as an industry leader by and and has won many alongside being recognised by for having a great company culture Role overview TraceLink is looking for experienced Market Development Representatives MDR to join our growing global team As an MDR you will work together with our global Business Management Commercial Operations and Sales team members to intensely research companies qualify and mature TraceLink s outbound inbound leads and diligently engage prospects to organize meetings with Sales Executives SEs and Account Executives AEs This role is for a highly motivated individual who will be focused on generating qualified opportunities for TraceLink s new logo acquisition team - clinical companies planning for their first product launch This individual will act as a Market Development Representative MDR to perform outbound prospecting for targeted accounts working in conjunction with the Sales Executives in each territory US EMEA APAC assigned to the MDR to set up qualified meetings He She will also need to follow up on MQLs generated from tradeshows partner-driven events digital marketing campaigns and direct inquiries Responsibilities Understanding of how clinical trials work - different phases what is studied in the different phases of the trials and where commercialization fits in Deeply research prospect accounts through public and private data sources Constantly monitor public information sources to augment accounts leads and opportunities with data to enhance prospecting effectiveness for successful deal closure Develop personalized strategies for outbound prospecting using email cold calling social media and other channels to engage prospects to increase engagement and leads Qualify and score inbound leads to identify and prioritize key companies personas for maximum campaign effectiveness Quickly follow up on marketing campaigns to create and maintain account intelligence briefs for Sales Executives SEs to prepare them for meetings Leverage teammates Managers SEs and MDRs to develop targeted lists call and email strategies and messaging to drive opportunities and prospecting activities Work with partners including Marketing Sales Operations and Business Management to enrich cleanse and triage account data Engage with functions such as Business Management Marketing and Sales Development Representatives to understand business priorities Document activity in Salesforce report and present qualitative and quantitative results every week Qualifications 0-2 years of Experience in Sales Development Business Development or similar roles Ability to effectively research qualify and react to leads and business opportunities BA BS or equivalent educational degree Good to have experience with the Life Sciences industry Good to have experience with Salesforce com Marketo Outreach or similar applications Good knowledge of G Suite Docs Sheets Slides and MS Office Good professional communication style through both written and verbal channels Ability to work in a fast-paced international start-up environment Please see the for more information on how Tracelink processes your personal information during the recruitment process and if applicable based on your location how you can exercise your privacy rights If you have questions about this privacy notice or need to contact us in connection with your personal data including any requests to exercise your legal rights referred to at the end of this notice please contact
