Job Summary:

We are looking for an accomplished Application Lead – SAP ABAP (S/4HANA) with a strong background in RICEFW development, RAP, CAP, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will take ownership of leading technical teams, driving end-to-end application design and development, and delivering high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives. This role demands excellent leadership, technical depth, and a collaborative approach to work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP ABAP development within the S/4HANA environment.
- Lead the design, development, and configuration of custom applications and solutions.
- Mentor and guide developers and junior team members to ensure consistent delivery and skill development.
- Collaborate with functional and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and align deliverables with business needs.
- Develop and optimize CDS views, AMDP procedures, and custom ABAP code following best practices.
- Build and maintain ODATA Services for SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
- Leverage RAP and CAP models to create scalable, secure, and modern SAP applications.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and compliance with SAP and organizational standards.
- Participate in Agile project delivery, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage risks, troubleshoot issues, and drive technical resolution and continuous improvement.

Technical & Professional Skills:

Mandatory Skills:

- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Deep expertise in S/4HANA ABAP, including CDS Views, AMDP, enhancements, and performance tuning.
- Proven experience in RICEFW development (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
- Strong knowledge of SAP ODATA Services and integration with Fiori/UI5 applications.
- Proficiency in RAP (Restful Application Programming) and familiarity with CAP (Cloud Application Programming) model.
- Good understanding of SAP HANA database principles and performance optimization strategies.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Exposure to Agile methodologies, DevOps tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps), and CI/CD pipelines.
