Job Description Job Title:Senior Accountant (US-Based Experience, GAAP Experience Required) Location:Remote (India-based) Working Hours:7:00 PM 3:30 AM IST (Aligned with U.S. EST) Type:Full-time About the Company We are aUS-based accounting and tax advisory firmproviding end-to-endbookkeeping, accounting, and tax compliance servicesto individuals and businesses across the United States. With a focus on accuracy, integrity, and client success, we combine deep financial expertise with modern technology to deliver reliable and compliant accounting solutions. About the role We're looking for a sharp and reliable senior accountant to support our U.S.-based finance operations. The ideal candidate must haveexperience working with U.S. clients, a strong GAAP experience grasp ofdaily accounting functions, and solidreconciliation and investigation skills. The role involvesposting daily banking transactions,handling funding notices,cleaning up schedules, andresolving account discrepancies. Preparing financial statements is not required, but accuracy and consistency are essential. Responsibilities - Post daily banking transactions - Process and post funding notices - Strong US GAAP experience - Maintain and clean up financial schedules - Investigate and resolve account balance differences - Perform account reconciliations (bank, credit card, vendor, etc.) - Coordinate with U.S. finance teams for smooth operations - Communicate clearly to resolve queries or missing data Requirements - 36 years of accounting experience, with12 years supporting U.S. clients - Must be100% comfortable working 7 PM 3:30 AM IST (EST hours) - Excellent spoken English and clear communication - Strong experience in reconciliation and resolving balance differences - Proven ability to organize and clean financial schedules - Familiarity with tools like QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP (preferred) - Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field You're a good fit if you: - Have strong U.S. accounting exposure - Are detail-oriented and proactive - Communicate with confidence - Are fully committed to night shift without hesitation
