We are Sinch Even if you dont know us by name or recognize our logo yet chances are you have used our products in one way or other We are leading global communication Platform cPaas provider the connector between the two through our messaging voice and video solutions By year end Sinch will be more than 5000 employees in more than 50 countries with one of our engineering hub at Noida location Sinch is one of the most successful global companies in the world that you probably never heard of according to Forbes Magazine Building on the success of Sinch we are now looking for a Senior Manager Internal Audit to add real value and improve our operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management control and governance processes This is a great opportunity to have a real impact and help shape the organization for further success Our APIs and platform deal with over 150 billion engagements annually Sinch 2nd largest cPaaS and messaging provider in the world is looking for a Senior Manager - Internal Audit APAC at its Noida India location The Essence of the Role Internal Audit is an independent objective assurance and consulting services function designed to add value and improve the operations of Sinch As our new Senior Manager for Internal Audit - APAC you will be responsible for assisting the company in accomplishing its objectives by performing detailed audit reviews to identify control opportunities where process enhancements can be implemented in order to add value and deliver insights to Management and Sinchs Audit Committee concerning the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls The candidate shall possess strong leadership qualities and be able to influence organizational objectives The position requires proven project management skills and leadership of complex audit engagements special projects and ad-hoc internal audit activities As our new Senior Manager Internal Audit you will be responsible to Conduct and direct audits and ongoing reviews of organization controls operating procedures and compliance with policies and regulations across the entire organization Review the soundness effectiveness and proper application of accounting and financial controls compliance procedures and controls and timeliness of documentation generation Review the soundness effectiveness and proper application of IT general controls Collaborate with the business to create feasible audit action items to strengthen the business operations Compile and issue reports detailing conclusions and providing recommendations for improvements Monitor the appropriate and timely closure of audit action items Support the business in ad-hoc Internal Control requests and act as a business partner to ensure the success of the organization Understand the businesses you are working with including their strategy product lifecycle associated business processes technology and related regulatory requirements The role will be based in Noida New Delhi India reporting directly to the Chief Audit Executive Travel to our headquarter in Stockholm Sweden and our main APAC offices Singapore and Australia is required and travel to other geographies such as the US and LATAM may be requested Experience Academic Qualification To be successful in this role you should have a real interest in Internal Audit and see how effective internal controls contribute to the success of the company You can independently operate in a fast-paced international environment setting the agenda for internal audit within the organization Stakeholder management is key in this role and therefore you love liaising with colleagues and have great communication and interpersonal skills that allow for relationship building with business partners across diverse teams Maintain sufficient Sinch and industry business acumen audit professional knowledge and subject matter expertise to fulfill responsibilities effectively and efficiently to deliver impactful results Qualifying Criteria A minimum of 10 years relevant professional Audit experience working in a consultancy firm or a multinational organization with a mix of IT operational and financial audit techniques Should be a Charter of Accountant CA and Certified Information Systems Auditor CISA certifications Knowledge of IT frameworks e g COBIT ISO27001 NIST Proven experience in project management practices tooling and managing projects through the audit lifecycle Proven audit-related data analysis and systems experience Have worked in a Public Accounting Firm Big 4 or in a multinational multicultural organization Proven experience in the Telecommunications industry Fluency in English Big Plus Certified Internal Auditor CIA certification Being you at Sinch We
