Accountant Organization Saksham Trust Location Rohru Shimla Himachal Pradesh Position Accountant Experience Minimum 1 years preferably in NGO or corporate sector Type Full-time About Saksham Trust Saksham Trust is a reputed NGO working in the field of education digital literacy and empowerment of persons with disabilities We aim to create inclusive opportunities and build a more accessible society through innovation advocacy and capacity building Role Overview The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day financial records ensuring compliance with statutory requirements preparing reports and supporting financial management processes for the organization and its projects Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting in Tally ERP 9 including journal entries vouchers receipts payments and contra entries Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers for all projects Handle purchase orders donor fund disbursement and utilization tracking Prepare and process invoices verify bills with agreements contracts and ensure proper approvals Conduct vendor reconciliation and maintain vendor accounts Manage TDS calculations payments and quarterly return filing Handle GST calculation payment and return filing Ensure timely payments of statutory dues such as EPF ESI and utility bills Handle cash transactions prepare vouchers and maintain cash books Prepare MIS and financial reports on a daily weekly monthly quarterly basis Coordinate with banks for NEFT payments fund transfers and reconciliations Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation Qualifications and Skills Essential Graduate in Commerce Accounts B Com or equivalent Minimum 1 years of relevant experience preferably in an NGO or corporate setup Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 and MS Office especially Excel Strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance Good communication skills in English and Hindi Preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to work independently Time management and organizational skills Leadership abilities and team coordination experience Remuneration Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience as per organizational norms Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 10 000 00 - 15 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Leave encashment Work Location In person
