The primary responsibility of this role is to pick up and deliver products to customers in a timely, safe, and professional manner. This role requires punctuality, navigation skills, and basic customer interaction. Whether delivering food, parcels, groceries, electronics, or documents, the Delivery Executive plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the brand’s reputation.Key Responsibilities:1. Pickup and Delivery Collect items from the warehouse, vendor, store, or restaurant as assigned Deliver packages to the correct customer address promptly and safely Obtain customer signatures, digital confirmation, or OTP verification upon successful delivery Handle return pickups or exchanges as required 2. Route Planning and Navigation Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS apps like Google Maps, company app, or pre-assigned routes Follow traffic rules and ensure timely delivery while minimizing fuel and travel time Adapt to last-minute route changes or order updates in coordination with dispatch team 3. Customer Service Communicate politely and professionally with customers during delivery Answer basic customer queries regarding the order or direct them to customer care Handle minor delivery-related complaints and report major concerns to supervisors 4. Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate records of completed deliveries, returns, and payments (if applicable) Submit daily logs, mileage reports, or receipts to the team leader or operations manager Update delivery status in real-time using mobile app or tracking software 5. Cash Collection (If Applicable) Collect Cash on Delivery (COD) payments and submit collections at end of the day Ensure correct amount is collected and maintain accurate records Handle digital payments or scan UPI/QR codes as required 6.
