The RCM Training Specialist is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering comprehensive training programs that support new hire onboarding, continual education, and process standardization for the Global Services Revenue Cycle teams. This role combines strong RCM operational knowledge with advanced facilitation skills to ensure new and existing staff perform effectively, consistently, and in compliance with client and company standards. Responsibilities: - Facilitate New Employee Orientation (NEO) and New Hire Training (NHT) programs, covering company introduction, HR overview, culture integration, and foundational RCM education. - Conduct onboarding that includes compliance fundamentals, regulatory standards, system navigation, and workflow familiarization. - Deliver and coordinate interactive, instructor-led sessions focused on: - Effective communication and professionalism in a global environment. - Foundational RCM principles including billing, insurance follow-up, denials, and appeals. - Overview of tools, systems, and productivity expectations to prepare employees for live production. - Manage and track completion of Learning Management System (LMS) modules, instructor-led debriefs, and knowledge assessments during the onboarding phase. - Create, update, and maintain all training materials including manuals, SOPs, quick reference guides, and process flowcharts. - Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and HR teams to align training content with evolving business needs and performance trends. - Develop and deliver refresher and upskilling programs based on denial trends, QA outcomes, and payer or system updates. - Evaluate and track training effectiveness through assessments, feedback surveys, and post-training performance analysis. - Support multi-site coordination of training programs across India and the Philippines to ensure consistent standards and delivery quality. Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree preferred - High school diploma or equivalent. - Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (insurance follow-up, denials, appeals, or patient accounting). - At least 2 years of experience conducting or facilitating training in an RCM or BPO environment. - Strong understanding of hospital (UB-04) and professional (CMS-1500) billing, payer rules, denial workflows, and compliance standards. - Hands-on experience with PFS systems, EHR platforms, and payer portals commonly used for billing, follow-up, and claim resolution. - Proven ability to create engaging training content and deliver dynamic virtual or in-person sessions. - Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; knowledge of Canva or Visio, is an advantage.
