Overview

The Motion Graphic Designer/Video Editor plays a crucial role in the visual storytelling process of our organization. This position involves creating engaging and innovative video content that effectively communicates our brand message and captivates our audience. The designer will work closely with other creative professionals, including directors, producers, and other team members to develop concepts, storyboards, and visual styles for various projects. The importance of this role cannot be understated, as compelling video content is essential for marketing, training, and promotional initiatives in today&aposs digital landscape. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for design and is skilled in both video editing and motion graphics, ensuring that each project aligns with the organization&aposs vision while also pushing creative boundaries. With responsibilities ranging from conceptualization to final delivery, this role requires a blend of technical expertise, artistic flair, and collaboration skills to produce high-quality visual media that resonates with our audience and enhances our brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the creative team to develop innovative video concepts and designs.
- Create engaging motion graphics and animations that enhance video content.
- Edit raw video footage into polished final products for various platforms.
- Utilize industry-standard software to produce high-quality graphics and videos.
- Design storyboards that outline the visual flow of the video projects.
- Maintain brand consistency across all video and graphic materials.
- Stay updated on the latest video techniques and motion graphic trends.
- Work with audio engineers to incorporate sound effects and music into video projects.
- Prepare and organize files for video rendering and distribution.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Review and revise video projects based on feedback from stakeholders.
- Ensure videos are optimized for various platforms and devices.
- Create promotional video content for social media and marketing campaigns.
- Assist in the development of video scripts and outlines.
- Participate in team meetings to brainstorm and pitch new ideas for projects.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor&aposs degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Film, or a related field.
- Proven experience in video editing and motion graphics design.
- Strong proficiency in software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop.
- Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of video projects and motion graphics.
- Familiarity with color theory, typography, and layout design.
- Knowledge of video production processes and techniques.
- Experience with animation principles and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
- Experience with motion tracking and visual effects is a plus.
- Understanding of social media platforms and their video requirements.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements quickly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in design solutions.
