critical projects and the mentorship of talented engineers You will architect and build complex scalable platforms and services that power our most ambitious initiatives Your technical expertise will and drive the architecture for high-impact projects Ensure design decisions align with strategic goals and industry best practices Hands-On Development Write clean efficient and well-documented code Lead by example conducting code reviews pair programming and cultivating a culture that values craftsmanship Project Ownership Take end-to-end ownership of features and systems from requirements gathering and design to deployment monitoring and iterative improvement Mentorship Collaboration Mentor and coach team members fostering growth and technical excellence Facilitate collaboration across disciplines including product design and operations Continuous Improvement Champion modern engineering practices including automated testing CI CD cloud-native development and DevOps Encourage a Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field 8 years of professional software engineering experience with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages e g PHP Java C Python Go TypeScript Strong knowledge of distributed systems APIs and microservices architecture Experience with cloud platforms AWS Azure or Google Cloud and building scalable resilient systems Expertise in agile methodologies and product-driven development Demonstrated skill in mentoring and leading cross-functional teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in the payments fintech or e-commerce industry Track record of delivering customer-facing products and systems at scale Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities Advanced knowledge of security and compliance best practices Familiarity with event-driven architecture and reactive systems Strong
