Title:Accounting Analyst (Accounts Payable)

Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all vendor invoices are accurately recorded and paid on time, as well as maintaining accurate records in the company&aposs accounting system. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Review, verify, and process invoices and employee expense reports.
- Ensure proper coding of expenses to the general ledger.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.
- Collaborate with internal departments to obtain approvals and resolve invoice issues.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and respond to inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Required Skills And Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Oracle Cloud and AS400)
- Excellent knowledge of Accounts Payable and financial processes (vendor master, invoice processing, payments, financial closure, reporting etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
