Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Manager located in Agartala. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving insurance sales and achieving performance targets by building and managing a team of agents. Key responsibilities include recruiting, training, and mentoring insurance agents, designing sales strategies, expanding the customer base, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The role also involves working closely with branch offices and other sales channels to meet organizational goals. Qualifications - Proven experience in sales, business development, and team management. - Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. - Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies. - Understanding of the insurance industry and related products such as health, accident, and travel insurance. - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and goal orientation. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and CRM software is an added advantage. - Experience in bancassurance and working with banks is beneficial. - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
