Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant with strong expertise in Java development and practical exposure to Generative AI (GenAI) technologies. The ideal candidate will design and deliver scalable solutions, integrate AI-driven capabilities into enterprise applications, and provide technical leadership to development teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Architect and integrate Generative AI solutions (e.g., LLMs, embeddings, RAG pipelines) into business applications.
- Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to operationalize models.
- Develop and optimize APIs for AI/ML services and ensure secure, efficient integration.
- Implement cloud-native solutions on platforms such as AWS / Azure / GCP.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers, conducting code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical architecture & solutions.
- Ensure delivery aligns with best practices in software engineering, CI/CD, testing, and TDD/BDD.

Required Skills & Experience

- 49 years of strong development experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI / LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, LangChain, RAG pipelines).
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS Lambda, S3, DynamoDB / GCP Vertex AI / Azure Cognitive Services).
- Exposure to vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Milvus).
- Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI model fine-tuning.
- Solid understanding of data pipelines and integrating AI services into enterprise workflows.
- Strong grasp of software engineering best practices: TDD, CI/CD, Agile methodologies.

Good to Have

- Experience in Python for AI/ML integrations.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform for deployment.
- Knowledge of MLOps practices.
- Prior consulting experience in digital transformation / AI-led initiatives.
