Sr Engineer for Product Creation and Tooling Design Job Description Experience/: 3/+ yrs Salary/: Based on Previous Experience Education/: Diploma/BE in Mech What You will do/: Lead complicated Tool Design/: Using cutting/-edge 3D CAD software, you will oversee the design, modelling, and detailing of high/-cavitation, complicated injection moulds while closely following the necessary specifications. Feasibility and Simulation/: To guarantee the best mould performance and cycle time, you will execute high/-level Design for Manufacturing /(DFM/) evaluations and use mould flow simulation software to analyse filling, cooling, and warpage. Standardisation and Mentoring/: You will create and implement best practices, specs, and standards for internal tooling design. Junior designers will receive technical advice and mentoring from you, and you will communicate directly with outside vendors and tool manufacturers. Quality and Tolerance Control/: You will perform rigorous Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing /(GD&T/) and tolerance stack/-up analysis to ensure the mold design inherently guarantees component quality, minimal flash, and repeatability /(Cpk/). Project Management & Trials/: You will manage the entire tooling development project lifecycle, from concept and design finalization through tooling trials and final production sign/-off, ensuring timeline adherence and successful commissioning.
