Sr Engineer Tool Design and Engineering Leadership Job Description Experience/: 5/+ yrs Salary/: Based on Company Norms Education/: Diploma/BE in Mech Location/: In And Around Chennai Your Duties/: Using cutting/-edge 3D CAD software, oversee the design and development of intricate manufacturing tools, jigs, fixtures, molds, and progressive dies. To verify tool design integrity, forecast stress points, fatigue life, and optimize material flow/forming, use Finite Element Analysis FEA and other simulation techniques. Assist with the smooth integration of new tools into the production line by acting as the technical lead for tooling during NPI phases. Work together with manufacturing engineers to make sure tool designs are optimized for production process stability and machine capabilities. Find ways to simplify the design or alter the material to lower the cost of producing and maintaining the tools without sacrificing functionality. To guarantee uniformity and modularity in all new tool designs, create and implement internal tooling standards, design guidelines, and best practices.
