This role is for one of Weekday s clients Salary range Rs 1000000 - Rs 1250000 ie INR 10-12 5 LPA Min Experience 6 years Location Bengaluru JobType full-time Requirements We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Product Manager - Pharmaceuticals to join our organization The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in pharmaceutical sales marketing and product management with the ability to design and implement strategies that drive growth and strengthen our market presence This role is central to ensuring that our pharmaceutical portfolio remains competitive innovative and aligned with market needs The Product Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams including sales marketing medical affairs regulatory and supply chain to ensure successful product launches lifecycle management and effective market positioning Key Responsibilities Product Strategy Management Define and implement the product roadmap for assigned pharmaceutical products Conduct in-depth analysis of the pharmaceutical market to identify opportunities trends and competitive dynamics Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and post-market activities Drive effective portfolio management ensuring continuous product relevance and market competitiveness Marketing Promotion Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies tailored to healthcare professionals patients and other stakeholders Create promotional campaigns scientific communication materials and product positioning strategies Collaborate with the sales team to design impactful marketing tools and training programs to support field activities Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical marketing practices Sales Support Performance Tracking Partner with the sales team to achieve business objectives by providing product knowledge marketing insights and field support Monitor sales performance analyze key metrics and prepare regular product performance reports Work closely with sales leadership to design incentive programs and strategies to boost market share Actively engage with doctors KOLs Key Opinion Leaders and other medical professionals to build product advocacy Cross-functional Collaboration Collaborate with medical regulatory and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product launch and delivery Ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management for assigned products Partner with R D to provide market inputs for pipeline and innovation opportunities Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers distributors and partners Participate in conferences scientific forums and industry events to represent the company and promote products Collect continuous feedback from the field to adapt strategies for evolving market needs Required Skills Experience Bachelor s degree in Pharmacy Life Sciences or related discipline MBA in Marketing or Healthcare Management preferred Minimum 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical product management sales or marketing Strong understanding of pharmaceutical sales channels product lifecycle management and marketing principles Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive product strategies in alignment with company goals Excellent communication presentation and analytical skills Demonstrated expertise in launching and managing pharmaceutical products in competitive markets High adaptability problem-solving mindset and a results-driven approach
