OVERVIEW:
Our client is a leading manufacturing company seeking for an Head of Maintenance to oversee the maintenance and efficient operation of their production equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience preferably in the printing & packaging industry, with expertise in Heidelberg machines would be an added advantage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of printing and packaging machinery, including Heidelberg machines.
- Manage the maintenance of supporting equipment such as air conditioning systems, compressors, and other utility equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Lead a team of technicians and maintenance staff, ensuring efficient operations and quick resolution of breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues in printing and packaging equipment.
- Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for spare parts, repairs, and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Optimize maintenance costs while ensuring high operational efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and generate reports for management review.
PRE - REQUISITES:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in the printing and packaging industry.
- Hands-on experience with Heidelberg printing machines is a strong advantage.
- Experience in maintaining AC systems, compressors, and other industrial equipment.
