Your Mission Should You Choose to Accept - Create and implement effective SEO strategies to boost search engine rankings and drive organic traffic - Conduct keyword research to identify high-value opportunities and optimize content for targeted keywords - Optimize website content meta tags and other on-page elements to enhance search engine visibility - Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are followed in all published content - Perform technical audits to identify and resolve issues affecting website performance and search engine rankings - Work with web developers to implement technical SEO improvements such as site speed optimization mobile responsiveness and structured data - Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and backlink profile - Monitor and manage online reputation and brand mentions to support SEO goals - Track analyze and report on key SEO metrics using tools such as Google Analytics Google Search Console SEMrush and Ahrefs - Provide regular performance reports and insights to the team and suggest actionable improvements - Stay updated with the latest SEO trends algorithm changes and industry developments to ensure our strategies are current and effective - Adjust SEO strategies based on performance data and evolving search engine algorithms What We re Looking For - At least 2-3 years of relevant experience with sports news publishing websites is a must - Proven experience as an SEO Manager or similar role with a strong track record of improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic - In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices tools and techniques including keyword research on-page and off-page optimization and technical SEO - Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics Google Search Console SEMrush Ahrefs or similar platforms - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - Familiarity with content management systems CMS like WordPress - Understanding of HTML and CSS is a plus ref updazz com
