About Branch Banking With more than 4100 domestic branches spread across 26 states and 6 union territories the branches act as the face of Axis Bank for millions of retail customers and is hence an integral part of the Bank s strategy Branches play a major role in deposit mobilization from New-To-Bank NTB customers and are also core drivers of the Bank s customer engagement strategy across products and services About the Role The City Head - Wealth Specialists is a senior sales leadership role responsible for driving fee revenue generation through mapped Relationship Managers RMs This role follows a player-captain model with 60 individual contribution and 40 team management responsibilities The incumbent will lead a team of 3-5 Wealth Specialists and ensure achievement of sales targets and compliance adherence across investment products including Mutual Funds PMS Alternate Investments Bonds Unlisted Shares and other fee revenue products like Insurance and FX Key Responsibilities Fee Revenue Generation Achieve fee revenue targets through mapped RMs and personal sales efforts Monitor and drive revenue performance across fee revenue products Sales Enablement Support Drive product adoption by training and enabling sales teams and relationship managers Conduct product workshops presentations and client meetings to support sales closures with RM Portfolio Reviews Support client portfolio reviews with product insights Provide tailored solutions and recommendations aligned with client needs RM AMC Partner Engagement Conduct quarterly RM trainings Conduct quarterly product and sales reviews with RMs and AMC partners in the assigned geography Co-host investor events with fund managers in the assigned geography Product Strategy Engagement Evaluate product shelf gaps and opportunities Track performance across all investment strategies Customer Experience Retention Address client queries and escalations related to products Enhance client satisfaction by ensuring right-fit product recommendations Risk Compliance Adherence Ensure all product pitches and communication comply with internal and regulatory norms both verbal and written Drive awareness of risk disclosures among internal teams and clients Performance Input Metrics tracking Track product performance client penetration and AUM growth Provide Circle and regional leadership with regular dashboards and reports on product KPIs Qualifications Optimal qualification for success on the job is Minimum 15 years of experience in investment product sales or client advisory roles Post Graduate qualification required MBA CA CFA CFP preferred Role Proficiencies For successful execution of the job the candidate should possess the following Strong understanding of investment products including Mutual Funds PMS Alternate Investments and Bonds Proven leadership experience in managing sales teams and achieving revenue targets Excellent communication analytical and stakeholder management skills Skills Refer to the About Company Axis Bank is the third largest private sector bank in India The Bank offers the entire spectrum of financial services to customer segments covering Large and Mid-Corporates MSME Agriculture and Retail Businesses The Bank has a large footprint of 4 594 domestic branches including extension counters with 11 333 ATMs 5 710 cash recyclers spread across the country as on 31st March 2021 The Bank has 6 Virtual Centres and has over 1500 Virtual Relationship Managers as on 31st March 2021 The Overseas operations of the Bank are spread over eight international offices with branches at Singapore Dubai at DIFC and Gift City-IBU representative offices at Dhaka Dubai Abu Dhabi Sharjah and an Overseas subsidiary at London UK The international offices focus on Corporate Lending Trade Finance Syndication Investment Banking and Liability Businesses
