Position Overview We are seeking a talented IoT Hardware Engineer to join our Energy Storage Systems ESS division In this role you will design and maintain IoT hardware solutions that enable connectivity and data collection for lithium-ion battery systems in the field Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the performance and reliability of our energy storage solutions Key Responsibilities Design Development Create and optimize IoT hardware designs for data collection and connectivity of lithium-ion battery systems Prototyping Build prototypes and conduct testing to validate functionality reliability and performance of IoT hardware Field Deployment Collaborate with field teams to deploy and support IoT hardware in real-world environments ensuring seamless operation Data Management Develop systems for data collection storage and transmission to support monitoring and analytics Maintenance and Support Troubleshoot and maintain IoT hardware addressing any issues that arise in the field to ensure continuous operation Collaboration Work closely with software engineers system integrators and product managers to ensure that hardware and software components work together effectively Documentation Maintain detailed documentation of hardware designs test results and operational procedures Qualifications Education Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or a related field Experience 3 years of experience in IoT hardware design and development preferably in energy storage or related industries Technical Skills Proficient in circuit design microcontroller programming and wireless communication protocols e g MQTT LoRa Zigbee Tools Familiarity with design software e g Altium Eagle and simulation tools Problem-Solving Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to address complex technical issues Communication Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset
