This role is for one of the Weekday s clients Salary range Rs 3500000 - Rs 4500000 ie INR 35-45 LPA Min Experience 10 years Location Chennai JobType full-time We re seeking a skilled Java Developer to join a high-performing agile team focused on building robust scalable backend systems This is an exciting opportunity for experienced engineers with a strong foundation in Java Spring Boot AWS Distributed Systems and PAAS platforms-especially those from product companies or fast-paced startups who thrive on solving complex technical problems Requirements Responsibilities Design develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Java Spring Boot and AWS Improve system performance scalability and reliability in high-traffic distributed environments Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver innovative backend solutions Write clean maintainable code and conduct peer reviews to uphold engineering best practices Continuously explore and implement emerging technologies to enhance system architecture and capabilities Requirements Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field 10 years of hands-on experience in Java development with a solid grasp of core Java concepts and designing scalable systems Deep expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architecture Practical experience using AWS services such as EC2 S3 RDS and Lambda for application development and deployment Proven experience in building and operating Distributed Systems within high-performance low-latency environments Strong knowledge of data structures algorithms and their real-world applications Experience working in PAAS environments with the ability to leverage cloud-native platforms and services Proven leadership in mentoring teams and driving engineering productivity and excellence Ability to thrive in fast-paced collaborative environments and take ownership of complex challenges Skills Java Spring Boot AWS Distributed Systems Microservices Team Leadership
