Foundry Industry Profile - Electrician Qualification - ITI Diploma - Electrical Experience - Min 4 yrs in foundry industry Working Hour - 12 Location - Bhilai JD An electrician in the foundry industry plays a crucial role in maintaining the electrical systems that power heavy machinery melting furnaces sand handling systems and automated casting equipment Their work ensures the uninterrupted functioning of operations contributing to safety productivity and efficiency Electrical Maintenance and Repairs Perform routine maintenance of electrical panels wiring lighting and equipment Diagnose and repair faults in furnaces conveyors hoists and molding machines Inspect and service circuit breakers transformers motors and drives Installation and Commissioning Install electrical systems for new machines and production lines Support commissioning of furnaces blowers pumps and control systems Lay and terminate cables and wire harnesses as per specifications Troubleshooting and Problem Solving Quickly identify electrical issues causing breakdowns in foundry operations Use testing instruments like multimeters megger clamp meters etc Work on PLC-controlled systems and VFDs where applicable Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Implement scheduled inspections to prevent unexpected failures Maintain logs and reports for all maintenance and service activities Ensure grounding and earthing systems are functional and compliant Safety and Compliance Follow electrical safety protocols Lockout-Tagout PPE arc flash protection Ensure all installations meet IS IEC or applicable local standards Identify and correct hazardous electrical conditions Support in Foundry Operations Ensure power supply continuity to furnaces induction arc fans and coolers Maintain automation systems and emergency backup systems DG UPS Coordinate with production and mechanical maintenance teams during shutdowns or overhauls Documentation and Inventory Maintain records of spares used maintenance performed and calibration reports Assist in managing stock of electrical spares and consumables Coordinate With DCS Group Web Site- https indiadcs in latest-job Email- hr indiadcs in 8209004104 Call whatsApp Calling Time - 11 00 AM to 6 00 PM WhatsApp Timing - 9 00 AM to 8 00 PM Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 16 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Schedule Fixed shift Work Location In person
