Sap Vc Product Lead

Scope of Role Regal Rexnord s IT team is seeking a seasoned Variant Configuration VC Product Lead to strengthen our enterprise applications team This role is ideal for a senior professional with deep technical expertise in SAP architecture and solution design The role is someone with equal parts experience in VC development and Integration solutions around it You will be responsible for leading the design development and governance of advanced VC models that support global configurable product offerings As a key technical authority you collaborate across product engineering and IT teams to ensure that our SAP VC solutions are scalable efficient and aligned with evolving business goals You ll also mentor junior professionals review work quality and drive improvements in configuration strategy standards and integration practices Key Responsibilities Lead the Design development and optimization of complex VC models across SAP Drive strategic initiatives to enhance scalability performance and reuse within the SAP VC ecosystem Review configuration models built by other team members and provide expert feedback Support SAP VC integration with SD MM PP and other relevant SAP modules Monitor and adopt emerging SAP VC innovations and best practices to enhance internal capabilities Design Variant Functions where applicable Design IDOC based interfaces Work with RFC and BAPI Wrappers Web Services integration design Qualifications Technical Skills Required Hands-on VC model building experience within a complex manufacturing environment- 5 7 yrs A technical professional with 2 full lifecycle SAP R 3 implementations SAP ECC 6 0 VC knowledge and experience Thorough understanding of all aspects of a variant configuration product model including classes characteristics configuration profiles ALE tables variant pricing functions dependency nets with constraints BOM class nodes preconditions selection conditions procedures complex super bills of material and routes and work centers ABAP experience in SAP S 4HANA or ECC environments with solid understanding of system architecture Eager to learn new technologies Integration knowledge with SAP modules and non-SAP applications Bachelor s degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent experience advanced degree preferred Strong Excel skills and desire to learn and incorporate AI workflows Leadership Strategic Skills Proven ability to lead development initiatives and provide inputs to key stakeholders Experience mentoring and supervising junior developers or technologists Excellent analytical architectural and decision-making skills Strong communication and collaboration skills across business and technical teams Ability to operate independently and manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously Preferred Not Required Experience with SAP IPC or AVC including relevant certification Familiarity with SAP Product Configuration Lifecycle Management PCLM Familiarity with SFDC ideally with Sales Cloud or CPQ or Logik ai tool Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps workflows About Regal Rexnord Regal Rexnord is a publicly held global industrial manufacturer with 30 000 associates around the world who help create a better tomorrow by providing sustainable solutions that power transmit and control motion The Company s electric motors and air moving subsystems provide the power to create motion A portfolio of highly engineered power transmission components and subsystems efficiently transmits motion to power industrial applications The Company s automation offering comprised of controls actuators drives and precision motors controls motion in applications ranging from factory automation to precision control in surgical tools The Company s end markets benefit from meaningful secular demand tailwinds and include factory automation food beverage aerospace medical data center warehouse alternative energy residential and commercial buildings general industrial construction metals and mining and agriculture Regal Rexnord is comprised of three operating segments Industrial Powertrain Solutions Power Efficiency Solutions and Automation Motion Control Regal Rexnord has offices and manufacturing sales and service facilities worldwide For more information including a copy of our Sustainability Report visit RegalRexnord com
