Position: Director / Professor / Associate / Assistant Professor Port, Terminal Management & Logistics. Location: Symbiosis Skills & Professional University (SSPU), Kiwale, Pune Symbiosis Skills & Professional University invites applications from accomplished academic and industry leaders to join our School of Port, Terminal Management & Logistics. We are seeking passionate educators and researchers committed to excellence, innovation, and shaping the next generation of logistics professionals. Educational Qualifications: - BBA and MBA in Operations or Logistics & Supply Chain Management. - Ph.D. (mandatory) or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as Logistics and Supply Chain, in accordance with AICTE guidelines. Experience Requirements: - Minimum 15+ years of experience in Teaching/Research/Industry. - At least 5 years at the level of Professor, demonstrating strong leadership in academic or research environments. - Proven track record of leadership, research, and collaboration in higher education. - Strong industry connections in port, shipping, or logistics sectors. - Experience in curriculum development, accreditation, and interdisciplinary program management. Key Responsibilities: - Provide academic, administrative, and strategic leadership for Port and Logistics programs. - Design and deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and research in port operations, terminal management, and supply chain logistics. - Build and strengthen industry partnerships to align programs with emerging trends and employability goals. - Supervise and promote research projects and publications aligned with institutional priorities. - Drive innovation, digital transformation, and sustainability in maritime logistics education. - Represent the university at national and international academic and industry forums.
