Position: Director / Professor / Associate / Assistant Professor – Port, Terminal Management & Logistics. Location: Symbiosis Skills & Professional University (SSPU), Kiwale, Pune Symbiosis Skills & Professional University invites applications from accomplished academic and industry leaders to join our School of Port, Terminal Management & Logistics . We are seeking passionate educators and researchers committed to excellence, innovation, and shaping the next generation of logistics professionals. Educational Qualifications: BBA and MBA in Operations or Logistics & Supply Chain Management . Ph.D. (mandatory) or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as Logistics and Supply Chain, in accordance with AICTE guidelines . Experience Requirements: Minimum 15+ years of experience in Teaching/Research/Industry. At least 5 years at the level of Professor , demonstrating strong leadership in academic or research environments. Proven track record of leadership, research, and collaboration in higher education. Strong industry connections in port, shipping, or logistics sectors. Experience in curriculum development , accreditation , and interdisciplinary program management . Key Responsibilities: Provide academic, administrative, and strategic leadership for Port and Logistics programs. Design and deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and research in port operations, terminal management, and supply chain logistics. Build and strengthen industry partnerships to align programs with emerging trends and employability goals. Supervise and promote research projects and publications aligned with institutional priorities. Drive innovation, digital transformation, and sustainability in maritime logistics education. Represent the university at national and international academic and industry forums .
