esponsibilities Maintenance and Repair Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment such as rotary kilns crushers conveyors and other machinery used in the sponge iron production process Conduct inspections diagnose mechanical problems and carry out repairs or replacements of faulty components to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability Installation and Commissioning Assist in the installation alignment and commissioning of new equipment and machinery according to manufacturer specifications and engineering drawings Work closely with engineering teams and contractors to ensure proper installation and integration of new equipment into existing plant systems Troubleshooting Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and mechanical failures troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions to restore functionality and prevent recurrence Utilize diagnostic tools equipment manuals and technical expertise to identify root causes of problems and implement effective solutions Safety and Compliance Adhere to safety protocols procedures and regulations while performing maintenance activities ensuring the safety of yourself and others working in the plant Conduct risk assessments implement safety measures and participate in safety training programs to promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities equipment history and spare parts inventory using computerized maintenance management systems CMMS or other documentation tools Generate maintenance reports work orders and equipment performance data to track maintenance activities and identify opportunities for improvement Team Collaboration Collaborate with other maintenance technicians fitters electricians and engineers to coordinate work schedules share knowledge and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues Provide guidance and mentorship to junior fitters and apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge in mechanical maintenance practices JOB APPLY CONTACT - RAKESH SINHA - 9039007336
