Project Summary Pratham is strengthening digital learning opportunities for students in remote and underserved regions. Through high-quality studio-based classes, interactive digital content, and concept-driven teaching, the project aims to make complex academic subjects accessible and engaging for students of higher classes. This initiative leverages technology: simulations, visualizations, green-screen teaching, and digital annotations; to create a dynamic learning environment that boosts student understanding and performance. Position Summary The Subject Matter Expert (SME) will deliver high-quality academic instruction in studio-based settings for students of higher classes (Grades 912). The SME must possess strong subject expertise along with modern pedagogical skills to simplify concepts through visuals, demonstrations, and digital tools. The position involves creating and teaching curriculum-aligned content, using interactive and technology-enhanced methodologies similar to leading EdTech teaching models. The SME will ensure students learning outcomes through engaging instruction, clarity of concepts, and continuous assessment. Key Responsibilities Studio-Based Teaching & Content Delivery - Conduct engaging, curriculum-aligned studio classes using green-screen technology, digital boards, simulations, and visual tools - Break down complex concepts using demonstrations, real-life applications, visualizations, and interactive elements - Use annotations, overlays, animations, and digital tools to make learning accessible to students in remote regions - Maintain high energy, clarity, and student-centric delivery similar to leading EdTech teaching standards Content Development & Academic Support - Develop structured lesson plans, scripts, presentations, practice worksheets, assessments, and supporting materials - Ensure accuracy and conceptual clarity in all academic content - Work closely with instructional designers and media teams to co-create high-quality learning experiences - Regularly update content to match curriculum revisions and student needs Student Learning Outcomes - Ensure that all content is designed for maximum student understanding, engagement, and performance - Track student performance and adjust teaching approaches as needed - Create assessments, quizzes, and learning checks to measure conceptual understanding Technical & Pedagogical Integration - Use modern teaching platforms and digital tools: simulations, models, green screens, AR/VR visuals, annotation software, and interactive boards - Maintain familiarity with emerging educational technologies and integrate them into lessons - Ensure seamless coordination with production teams during shoots or live sessions Collaboration & Coordination - Work with academic leads, content designers, editors, camera teams, and project managers to deliver high-quality recorded and live classes - Participate in periodic review meetings and training sessions for continuous improvement Required Skills and Abilities Educational Background - Bachelor's or Master's degree in the relevant subject (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Political Science, History, Economics) - Strong academic record and deep conceptual understanding Language - Mandatory knowledge of Marathi and English: Reading, Writing, Speaking Work Experience - Minimum 25 years of teaching experience in higher classes (Grades 912) - Experience teaching in EdTech, digital studios, or recorded/live class environments is highly preferred (e.g., Byju's, Unacademy, Vedantu, PhysicsWallah etc.) Subject Expertise & Teaching Skills - Ability to simplify complex concepts through powerful visuals, examples, and analogies - Excellent communication, presentation, and student engagement skills - Strong conceptual clarity and command over curriculum frameworks (State Board/CBSE/ICSE) Technical Proficiency - Comfortable using digital teaching tools: interactive boards, annotation tools, simulations, PPTs, and content delivery platforms - Familiarity with green-screen teaching and studio recording process (preferred) - Ability to integrate multimedia elements to enhance learning Other Skills - Creativity, innovation, and passion for improving learning outcomes in underserved regions - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (content, production, academic) - Strong ownership of results and openness to feedback-driven improvement Working Details and Remuneration - Remuneration will be commensurate to the candidate's experience and will be within the range of INR 40,000-50,000 CTC per month - The position may be studio-based (Mumbai/Nashik/Nagpur/Delhi) To Apply - Interested candidates should submit their resume via the link given below by 5 December 2025 - Link: https://forms.gle/3JX2A8qALH7vn4rG6 - Please sign in with your Gmail account to access the link Further Queries - For any queries or clarifications required, you can send an email at [Confidential Information] or call us at +91 8010888092, +91 8199078013, +91 9811466873 - Due to the large number of applications, we receive, we will only be in contact with shortlisted candidates
