Job Description

As a Shopify Developer at [Company Name], you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performing e-commerce websites on the Shopify platform. Key Responsibilities

- Build, customize, and maintain Shopify-based e-commerce websites that align with client requirements and brand guidelines.
- Develop responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces that optimize user experience and conversion rates.
- Customize Shopify themes, including layouts, navigation, and product presentation.
- Implement and modify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for functional and visually appealing web pages.
- Integrate and configure Shopify apps to enhance site functionality (payment gateways, inventory, marketing tools, etc.).
- Ensure seamless communication between Shopify and third-party systems.
- Monitor and optimize website performance, including site speed, page load times, and mobile responsiveness.
- Implement SEO best practices to improve search visibility and rankings.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging across browsers and devices.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure security and stability.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and developers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and clients.
- Maintain technical documentation, including coding standards and development processes.
- Stay current with e-commerce trends, Shopify updates, and emerging web technologies to recommend innovations.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in Shopify development, including theme customization and app integration.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, UX/UI principles, and web design best practices.
- Experience with SEO optimization and web analytics tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage tasks independently and within a collaborative team environment.
