Job Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Manager – QC/QA at Corporate level covering Aerospace and other businesses. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity for a professional with a strong background in quality engineering and manufacturing in the aerospace industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality of our aerospace products, ensuring they meet the stringent standards of the aviation industry. This role involves a high level of responsibility and requires a professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Oversee the quality of aerospace products from inception to completion, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer requirements.

Develop, implement, and maintain the company's quality management system in compliance with AS 9100 & AS 13100 and other relevant standards. Should actively facilitate the deployment of APQP, Process Capability studies, MSA & SPC. Should identify and manage QC/QA risks through the use of PFMEA.

Lead the team of Quality Engineers to ensure the effectiveness of the quality management system. Facilitate the conduction of Product and process audits on a regular basis.

Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in quality. Lead the initiatives to improve productivity in QC methods through the use of functional gauges, state of the art technology and automation.

Handle customer complaints and non-conformance issues, and drive root cause corrective action process.

Experience & Skills:

- Minimum of 20+ years of experience in quality management within the Aerospace & Defence industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Solid knowledge of AS 9100, AS 13100 & Nadcap standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in using computer software and applications related to QC/QA
- Professional certification in Quality Management or a related field would be an added advantage
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
