This Position Reports To

R&D Leader(Industrial Software)-PAEN BL

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of Research and Development (R&D) employees and support them in achieving the agreed R&D targets. Each day, you will coach and develop the team. You will also showcase your expertise by helping in managing technologies, platforms, and Intellectual Property.

The work model for the role is Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Process Industries Energy Industries based out in Bangalore.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

- Managing team for a multidisciplinary research team; including internals, externals and partners along with coaching project leaders for scientific excellence and professional execution of R&D Digital projects
- Fostering the creation of high-value research project proposals, contributing to technical work in research projects and pre-studies.
- Managing the quality assurance of products delivered from R&D working with product managers and product owners to understand scope, features and estimates testing and automation effort.
- Managing the configuration management (DevOps) activities, integrated end-to-end business process on behalf of the Energy Industries Digital business, working closely with all stakeholders.

Qualifications For The Role

- B. E / B. Tech / MCA with 60% and above/ overall experience
- 14+ years of experience in which 4-5 years of experience demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills, and ability to manage expectations and complex interdependencies
- Experience in test management, integration test planning, execution and test automation with DCS or PLC or SCADA applications as an added advantage
- Good knowledge on Energy Industries like Oil & Gas, Power & Water, Chemical, Petrochemical, polymer as well as in power plants, renewable energies will be an added advantage
- Should understand of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile (Scrum), Defect Life Cycle, Test Automation, Defect Management, White and Black box test methodologies.
- Experience that demonstrates your team-oriented, innovative, and strategic working style
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
