Position : Senior Systems Administrator

Bangalore , India

Responsibilities:

- Provide hands-on IT support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues in both Windows and macOS systems, and escalating complex problems as needed.

- Build, maintain , and administer on-premise and cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft Active Directory, AWS, and other cloud environments.

- Manage and administer key services such as Office 365, Okta, Slack, MDM solutions, and phone systems.

- Ensure the security and integrity of data, systems, and network infrastructure.

- Proactively monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement preventative measures.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.

- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry best practices.

- Participate in IT projects and initiatives, collaborating effectively with colleagues across departments.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Senior Systems Administrator or similar role with a strong hands-on approach.

- Extensive experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server environments, and Office 365 administration.

- Hands-on experience with key SaaS applications like Okta, Slack, and MDM solutions.

- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor .

- A passion for technology and a desire to continuously learn and develop new skills.

Additional Nice to Have Skills:

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft certifications, AWS certifications).

- Experience with ITIL framework and best practices.

- Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS, and experience with cloud infrastructure management.

- Familiarity with networking principles and technologies, particularly FortiNet .
