POSITION Senior Manager - Institutional Sales Reports to Position VP and Zonal Head - Institutional Sales Business Unit Institutional Sales Location Hyderabad Position Purpose The position will be responsible for handling corporates and other Institutional Clients Liaising with Mid and Large size treasuries Institutional Clients Responsible for developing building and managing existing new relationships for improving the market share and acquiring new set of clients in small mid and large segments to improve the overall AUM Principal Accountabilities You Will Be Responsible For Develop and maintain relationships with institutional clients Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through proactive outreach and networking efforts Understand the needs and objectives of institutional clients and provide fund recommendations Coordinate with internal teams including research analysts Fund managers to deliver timely and relevant market insights and investment ideas to clients Prepare and present proposals and presentations to prospective clients highlighting the firm s capabilities and offerings Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategic sales initiatives aimed at growing the firm s institutional client base Stay abreast of market trends regulatory developments and competitor activities to ensure a competitive edge in the marketplace Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by the organization The Experience You Bring Should have existing relationship with key corporates family offices and distributors The incumbent should be well entrenched in the market and well-versed with the competition Should have 5-12 years of relevant experience in AMC or any other financial institution handling Institutional Clients Knowledge Skills Competencies Knowledge Must have relevant knowledge of Fixed Income Equity Markets and should be able to gauge the impact of government and RBI policies on markets and mutual fund products and advise the clients accordingly Proactive adaptable and with strong communication persuasion skills Good commercial acumen Problem Solving Works on assignments of diverse scope and complexity where initiative and independent judgement is required to formulate an appropriate course of action within and outside the context of established policies and procedures Uses concepts and abilities and the Firm s policies and procedures to solve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways Leadership May lead a small Team or act as a resource for colleagues with less experience Leads projects with manageable risks and resource requirements Influence and Partnership Explains difficult or sensitive information Works to build consensus May provide process and subject matter advice at more senior levels Preferred Industry Experience Candidate with relevant experience in AMC or any other financial institution handling corporates and other institutional clients in the location 5-12 years of experience
