Hi All We are having urgent opening for Senior Executive - IT with one of our MNC client Trichy Job Title - Senior Executive - IT Experience - 3 to 6 Yrs CTC - 6 to 8 LPA Job Location - Trichy Job summary and key objectives Working closely with system vendor end users and teammates to maintain the computer networks providing technical support and ensuring onsite IT function runs smoothly Monitors and maintains the site computer systems installs and configures hardware and software and solves technical problems Work closely with IT department at HQ and other adhoc project assigned by superior Other more specific requirments Provides technical support to the organization s internal users of computer applications and hardware e g PCs servers printer etc Answers questions regarding system procedures systems status and downtime procedures Collaborates with network services software systems engineering and or application development in order to restore service and or identify problems and may provide some direction in the installation and maintenance of the telecommunications network software Maintains a troubleshooting tracking log ensuring timely resolution of problems Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary or as per corporate policy Provides onsite offsite technical support to the organization s internal users of computer applications and hardware e g PCs servers printer etc Assures the seamless interface across different systems and the effective operations of LANs WANs mainframe and minicomputer platforms Configures installs maintains and upgrades computer systems hardware and software maintains security of operating systems Provides operational support for the organization s information systems and peripheral equipment such as application servers database servers web servers desktops printers and storage devices Provides technical expertise in the management of a public and or private network tests and analyzes network facilities including network control software routers switches lines modems adapters and servers Responsible for vendor Coordination and AMC and or contract renewals Provides overall administration and support for email applications to ensure that the system s integrity and security are not compromised Evaluates tests recommends develops coordinates monitors and maintains information security policies procedures and systems including hardware firmware and software Ensures that IS security architecture designs plans controls processes standards policies and procedures are aligned with IS standards and overall IS security Develops and tests plans to ensure the continuity of critical business functions and minimize information loss in the event of a disaster e g fire flood hurricane earthquake Institutes loss-reduction mechanisms to lessen exposure to disaster risks such as sprinkler systems insurance policies and evacuation procedures Deploy software tools on virus protection content filtering file size limitation access rights control to protect against intellectual property loss Provide Orientation training on IT system to new hires Able to proactively initiate action plan to improve overall applications operational efficiency in accordance to company s IT standards and policies To manage and support rolling out of ad-hoc projects in accordance to IT standards and practices Requirements Candidate must possess at least Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or IT Technology equivalent Knowledge in Server maintenance computer s hardware operating system and networking is essential Candidate with knowledge in admin and application development will have added advantage Strong analytical and problem solving skills Self-motivated independent creative and result-oriented with good interpersonal skills A self-starter with proven initiatives to learn new technologies Able to travel if required At least 3 - 5 years of working experience in manufacturing industry To perform any other duties as assigned by your superior from time to time If interestede please send updated resume on gareema awasthi cielhr com
