- Eye Surgeon Ophthalmologist Position Title Eye Surgeon Ophthalmologist Department Ophthalmology Reports To Medical Director Head of Department Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Eye Surgeon Ophthalmologist to diagnose treat and manage a wide range of eye conditions and diseases The role involves performing advanced surgical procedures providing outpatient consultations and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose ocular diseases and disorders Perform surgical procedures such as cataract surgery LASIK glaucoma surgeries retinal detachment repair corneal transplants etc Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients Prescribe corrective lenses medications or therapies as appropriate Manage ophthalmic emergencies and urgent cases Collaborate with optometrists nurses and other healthcare professionals Maintain detailed patient records in compliance with medical and legal standards Educate patients and families on eye health preventive care and treatment options Participate in continuous professional development training and research activities Qualifications Requirements MBBS degree with recognized specialization in Ophthalmology MS MD DNB or equivalent Valid medical license registration to practice as an ophthalmologist Proven experience in performing major and minor eye surgeries Strong knowledge of the latest diagnostic and surgical technologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to patient safety ethics and high-quality care Key Skills Microsurgery and laser eye surgery expertise Strong clinical judgment and decision-making Attention to detail and precision Empathy and patient-centered care approach Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies Job Type Full-time Pay 90 000 00 - 110 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Experience Ophthalmology 2 years Required Work Location In person
