Job Category Technology Engineering Manager - Pricing POD We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our growing Pricing and Promotion POD engineering team In this role you will guide architectural and technical decisions coach and develop engineers and ensure delivery of scalable maintainable and high-performance systems You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful products while fostering a strong engineering culture and operational excellence Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of 5-6 engineers providing coaching career development and performance feedback Drive architectural direction and ensure solutions meet scalability performance and reliability goals Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define product requirements and translate them into technical roadmaps Oversee application design and delivery ensuring clear documentation design docs flow charts sequence diagrams to support on-time high-quality releases Partner with senior engineers to create and optimize database schemas queries and models for performance and scalability Maintain high engineering quality through best practices like automated testing peer reviews and CI CD pipelines Facilitate technical planning resource allocation and prioritization to align with business objectives Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies bringing innovative approaches to the team Promote a collaborative inclusive and high-performing team culture Qualifications Experience 10 years in software engineering with at least 2 years in a people management or technical leadership role 2 years of experience in Managing engineers direct Proven track record in building and scaling UI Especially the e-commerce site experience is plus Strong knowledge of database design modeling and optimization SQL and NoSQL Experience with AWS and modern infrastructure tools Kubernetes Docker Terraform Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures Technical Skills Background in Java Golang Elixir or Scala hands-on coding not primary focus but technical depth is essential Knowledge of modern development practices CI CD Git containerization Exposure to frontend development React is a plus Soft Skills Strong leadership mentoring and coaching abilities Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams Ability to prioritize manage multiple projects and adapt to changing requirements Commitment to fostering a positive growth-oriented engineering culture Responsibilities Design and development of various integration specifications using JSON XML EDI X12 and EDIFACT maps Very familiar with Supply chain domain concepts Having worked with a retailer or wholesaler in apparel industry is a definite plus Work closely with the order capture and validation teams as they build out new solutions for B2B Customer order capture and enabling a pathway to migrating applications from the current older EDI platform Informix 4GL to a new one Java ReactJS The transition role is more from supporting on a Subject Matter Level effort providing guidance on business rules Manage daily EDI and integration operations including but not limited to -
