Job Title: Infra-Security Engineer
Loc: Bengaluru

Job Type: Contract to hire
Notice Period: - Immediate joiners.
Mandatory Skills: Illumio Core (ASP),network security,Illumio Explorer, VENs, and policy writing (rulesets, labels, etc.).
JD:
Key Responsibility:
- Design and implement micro-segmentation using Illumio Core to reduce attack surfaces and improve lateral movement prevention.
- Perform application dependency mapping using Illumio's tools and third-party data sources.
- Work with application and infrastructure teams to define and enforce segmentation policies.
- Monitor policy performance, analyse traffic patterns, and continuously optimize segmentation strategies.
- Manage and maintain Illumio PCE (Policy Compute Engine) infrastructure.
- Collaborate with network security and compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements and audit controls.
- Troubleshoot segmentation-related issues and provide operational support.
- Create documentation and train internal teams on Illumio usage and micro-segmentation best practices.
Candidate requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in network security, with a strong understanding of segmentation principles.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Illumio Core (ASP) in an enterprise environment.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, firewalls, and east-west traffic flows.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Proficiency in using Illumio Explorer, VENs, and policy writing (rulesets, labels, etc.).
- Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
