Job Title Chartered Accountant CA Female Candidates OnlyCompany Covenant ConsultantsLocation Ambattur Chennai Only candidates from Chennai Job Summary Covenant Consultants is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced female Chartered Accountant with a strong foundation in financial management compliance and audits The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience preferably from the service industry or an audit firm This role will involve financial reporting tax compliance and strategic financial oversight making it essential for the candidate to have in-depth knowledge of accounting standards tax laws and compliance regulations Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting and Analysis Prepare accurate and timely financial reports including balance sheets income statements cash flow statements and financial analyses Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring compliance with accounting standards Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support decision-making at the management level Auditing and Compliance Conduct regular internal audits to ensure adherence to internal controls policies and procedures Implement corrective actions for discrepancies or issues identified during audits maintaining a high level of financial integrity Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and address any queries or requirements efficiently Tax Planning and Regulatory Compliance Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all statutory taxes including GST TDS and other regulatory submissions Maintain compliance with evolving tax regulations and provide recommendations for efficient tax planning Liaise with tax authorities and consultants when necessary ensuring Covenant Consultants remains in good standing with all regulatory bodies Budgeting and Forecasting Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts working closely with department heads to align financial goals with organizational objectives Monitor actual expenses and revenues against budgeted figures identifying variances and proposing adjustments where necessary Process Improvement and Financial Policies Evaluate and improve existing financial policies and procedures ensuring the highest standards of efficiency and accuracy Introduce new methods or tools to streamline financial processes reduce errors and enhance data accuracy Key Requirements Qualifications Chartered Accountant CA qualification is mandatory with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience Experience Preference for candidates with a background in the service industry or audit firms who have hands-on experience with financial compliance audits and tax planning Analytical Skills Ability to interpret complex financial data identify trends and provide actionable recommendations Soft Skills Strong communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients Preferred Attributes Based in Chennai as only candidates currently residing in Chennai will be considered Familiarity with financial practices specific to the service industry or audit firm environments which require a high degree of accuracy and compliance with strict regulatory standards Why Join Covenant Consultants Professional Growth Opportunity to work with a reputable consultancy that values expertise and supports continuous learning and development Impactful Role As a Chartered Accountant you will play a crucial role in shaping financial policies and ensuring the integrity of financial processes within the organization Supportive Work Culture Work within a collaborative team focused on delivering excellence with access to resources and support for career advancement
