Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Junior Engineer - Manufacturing Engineering in Chennai, India.

What a typical day looks like:

- Design fixtures for PCBA manufacturing and PCB panel array design.

- Create SOPs for product manufacturing and provide support to manufacturing facilities to improve efficiency.

- Support Cycle time estimation study and NRE estimation (NRE) estimation for Request for Quote (RFQ) preparation.

- Create Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis for New product.

- Aptitude to work with a multi-functional team to define requirements and suitable metrics for the performance of new products and process.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

- Bachelor's degree - ECE / EEE / Mechanical with 0 - 2 years of experience in manufacturing industry preferably in EMS Industry.

- Should have extensive knowledge of IPC standards and the ability to understand customer specifications from manufacturing instructions and assembly drawings.

- Hands-on experience with 3DCAD software products including SolidWorks, Cre-O, Inventor, and so on.

- Knowledge & direct experience in NPI operations and manufacturing engineering.

- Able to perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.

- Experience with Continuous Process Improvement, Kanban and Lean manufacturing principals.

- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic startup environment.

- Work with other engineering team members to improve existing design or Process.

- Knowledge of MS office and MS outlook.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills MANDATORY.

- Good analytical skills.

- Reporting & Decision-making skills.

- Should be open for shifts.
