Numerator is seeking a Senior DevSec Engineer to integrate security at every step of our development lifecycle. This role is critical in embedding secure-by-design principles across our infrastructure, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines. What You'll Do: - Embed security tooling in CI/CD workflows and automate SDLC security checks - Conduct secure code reviews, threat modeling, and architecture assessments - Partner with software engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities at scale - Maintain SAST/DAST tools and integrate them with dev workflows - Lead investigations into high-priority vulnerabilities or misconfigurations - Champion DevSecOps best practices through enablement and training Skills & Requirements What You Bring: - 5-7 years in DevSecOps, AppSec, or security automation - Strong experience with modern CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins) - Hands-on work with SAST/DAST tools (e.g., Snyk, SonarQube, Burp) - Solid coding skills in Python - Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure preferred), container security (Kubernetes preferred), IaC (Terraform must have) - Familiarity with SBOM, supply chain security - Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK, and threat modeling - Experience with GitHub co-pilot or other AI prompt engineering tools Nice to Haves: - Contributions to open-source security tools - Experience building security champion programs - AI agentic coding via tools like Claude Code
