Job Description Your Team's Impact FactSet Fundamentals Industry complements our current product offer (FF Standardized and FF As Reported) by providing extensive industry metrics with the granularity and accuracy required for comparing companies within a sector. FFI allows users to compare financial data by creating a consistent set of metrics and market practices that overtake the traditional challenges related to discrepancy in disclosures and accounting standards. The depth of data will make FFI a value-added product and allow us to tackle industry specific analysts. FFI Quality Control team plays a crucial role to ensure the accuracy, completeness, reliability and integrity of the data gathered by performing Quality checks through Random sampling, fixing the anomalies identified by test manager logics and performing Product checks. What You'll Do - Implementing Quality Strategy - Brainstorm, Design, implement, and regularly update quality control strategy in line with the data collection process to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability. - Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all quality-related activities - Team Management and Training - Lead, develop, and supervise the quality control teams, ensuring they are well-trained in both operational workflows and quality standards. - Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and mentoring to promote continuous improvement in team's performance. - Monitoring and Optimizing Data Quality - Oversee day-to-day operations related to quality, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines. - Monitor data collection processes for errors, inefficiencies, or inconsistencies, and suggest corrective and preventive measures as needed. - Quality Control and Issue Resolution - Identify data quality issues, recommend and implement corrective actions, - Ensure feedback loops are in place to foster quick issue resolution and knowledge sharing within the team. - Compliance and Documentation - Ensure Quality processes comply with standard approaches followed across DCOPS - Keep detailed track of all quality assurance and data correction activities to timely updates to Stakeholders - Continuous Improvement and Process Optimization - Regularly review methods, tools, and technologies to identify opportunities for greater efficiency, cost savings, and data quality improvements. - Lead process improvement initiatives and collaborate with IT and other departments to automate and streamline data quality workflows. - Reporting and Analytics - Collaborate with QA to prepare & present data quality reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and improvement opportunities. - Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) and data analytics tools for ongoing monitoring of the quality program's effectiveness. - Stakeholder Collaboration - Liaise with other departments to ensure quality requirements are clearly understood and integrated into overall data strategies. Required Skills What We're Looking For - Current designation should be AOM, ACM, ACQM, CQM & OM equivalent - Minimum current designation tenure should be 12 months - Minimum Factset experience should be 18 Months - Minimum previous annual rating should be On Target or Achieved, as applicable. - Employee should not be promoted in last 6 months - Employee should not be in PIP in last 2 appraisal cycles - FactSet Fundamentals knowledge will be an added advantage Desired Skills - Proven track record of leading, supervising and developing cross-functional teams or quality teams - Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify data quality issues, root causes, and implement corrective actions. - Proficiency in problem-solving, and making data-driven decisions - Demonstrated ability to implement and optimize data collection and quality processes - Skilled in setting and enforcing quality standards & SOPs - Project or program management experience, including overseeing audits and continuous improvement initiatives - Experience with coaching, feedback, and performance management for team members - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders - Ability to translate complex quality or technical concepts to non-technical audiences What's In It For You At FactSet, our people are our greatest asset, and our culture is our biggest competitive advantage.
