Job Description

Head - Payroll - CA / MBA (Finance) | Mumbai City | Manufacturing and Production

- Deliver continuous improvement and transformation projects in the payroll

- Manage Payroll Accounting

- Should have managed employee headcount of 20,000+ for payroll slips

- Lead and manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.

- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to payroll and taxation.

- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to manage employee compensation and benefits efficiently.

- Maintain and update payroll systems and records for accuracy and transparency.

- Prepare payroll reports and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.

- Handle escalations and resolve payroll-related queries promptly.

- Oversee audits related to payroll and ensure adherence to internal controls.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head - Payroll - CA / MBA (Finance) should have:

- A CA or MBA qualification with a focus on finance, accounting, or related fields.

- Expereince in tools like SAP, Peoplestrong, Darwinbox, Successfactors

- Strong knowledge of payroll systems, statutory compliance, and tax regulations.

- Proven ability to manage large-scale payroll operations.

- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and handling employee payroll queries.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex payroll scenarios.

- Proficiency in payroll software and advanced MS Excel skills.

- A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
