Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Auditing:
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain the Projected Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and ratio analysis in compliance with accounting standards (IND AS, GAAP) and the Companies Act.
- Ensure timely and accurate finalization of accounts and consolidation of accounts for the plant.
- Auditing & Internal Controls:
- Oversee the completion of internal, statutory, management, and tax audits within the prescribed time and cost budget.
- Evaluate internal control systems/procedures, prepare audit reports, and implement corrective actions to improve financial operations and reduce risks.
Budgeting & MIS:
- Budget Formulation & Monitoring:
- Develop and manage annual budgets in coordination with functional heads and top management.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual vs. projected results and implement corrective actions.
- Management Information Systems (MIS):
- Prepare MIS reports to provide feedback on financial performance and assist in critical decision-making for top management.
Taxation & Compliance:
- Taxation Planning & Filing:
- Ensure compliance with Income Tax laws by preparing and filing tax returns and managing TDS, GST, and other tax-related obligations.
- Liaise with tax authorities for assessments, claiming exemptions/concessions, and handling appellate proceedings.
- Other Compliance Activities:
- Manage payroll, fund flow management, Capex, and ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations.
Accounts Receivables & Payables:
- Manage debtor and creditor management ensuring timely collection and payment as per the company's financial terms.
- Oversee billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch of invoices.
IT Skills & SAP Knowledge:
- Proficient in SAP ECC 6.0 (FICO Module) for financial operations, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Well-versed with SAP R/3, including costing and materials management (MM module) for enhanced financial control and reporting.
- Proficient in MS Office tools for reporting, data analysis, and financial presentation.
Other Key Skills:
- Financial Management: Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- SAP R/3: Strong hands-on experience with SAP FICO and conceptual knowledge of the MM module.
- Auditing & Compliance: Knowledge of SOX, US GAAP, and Indian GAAP, and strong experience in compliance management.
- Taxation & Legal Liaison: Familiarity with direct and indirect taxation, tax filings, and legal communication.
