Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Legal Advisory & Compliance

- Provide strategic legal counsel on corporate, commercial, and real estate matters.
- Ensure compliance with RERA, property laws, company law, and other applicable regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, MoUs, and JV deals.

Real Estate Transactions

- Conduct due diligence on land acquisitions, redevelopment projects, and property titles.
- Advise on project structuring, regulatory approvals, and builder-buyer agreements.
- Oversee registration processes and ensure statutory compliance.

Corporate Governance & Risk Management

- Assist management in decision-making by identifying legal risks and mitigating strategies.
- Ensure all corporate filings, licenses, and documentation are updated and compliant.
- Handle shareholder agreements, board resolutions, and investor relations from a legal standpoint.

Litigation & Dispute Resolution

- Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitrations, and negotiations.
- Liaise with external counsel when required and manage litigation strategy.
- Handle customer disputes, builder-buyer complaints, and regulatory notices effectively.

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with architects, contractors, consultants, and external legal firms.
- Provide legal training and guidance to internal teams on compliance and risk awareness

Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelors / Masters degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognized institution.
- 510 years of experience, preferably in real estate and corporate law.
- Strong knowledge of RERA, Contract Act, Companies Act, and property-related laws.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
