Role Description Operations - Manage production, scheduling, dispatch, and quality control. - Oversee procurement, vendor development, and logistics. - Plan capacity utilization and resource optimization. - Implement Lean/Six Sigma and best-practice systems. - Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and labor regulations. Team Leadership - Lead and mentor teams across production, logistics, and procurement. - Define KPIs, monitor performance, and foster collaboration across functions. - Build a strong culture of safety, ethics, and teamwork. Financials & Systems - Track and control plant budgets and operating costs. - Drive efficiency and cost-saving initiatives. - Support management in budgeting and business reviews. - Explore automation and ERP integration for process improvement. Requirements - Education: B.Tech/M.Tech (mandatory); MBA (preferred, top institute). - Experience: 7+ years in manufacturing operations — ideally in chemicals or FMCG. - Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, automation, and compliance. - Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills. - Proactive, decisive, and focused on operational excellence.
