Job Title: Python Software Engineer – Backend Development (ORM, Pandas, NumPy)

Location: Hybrid – Bangalore / Hyderabad / Mumbai (Work from client office)

Experience: 6–9 years

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days

Shift: 2 PM to 11 PM IST

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Backend Python Software Engineer with a strong foundation in Object Oriented Programming and Functional Programming. This role involves developing and maintaining Python analytics applications, handling large datasets, and ensuring scalable, maintainable backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend Python applications
- Work with datasets from SQL/NoSQL databases, data lakes (S3), and data lakehouses (Dremio)
- Implement and maintain ORM-based solutions
- Perform data manipulation using Pandas and NumPy
- Debug, test, and document code to meet quality standards
- Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams following Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Work with CI/CD pipelines in Azure/AWS environments

Mandatory Skills:

- Core Python – OOP & Functional Programming
- ORM (Object Relational Mapping)
- Pandas and NumPy (hands-on proficiency)
- Backend development focus (No frontend or data science profiles)
- SQL and NoSQL databases
- Agile Scrum, TDD, CI/CD (Azure/AWS)

Educational Requirement:

- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science from a reputed institution

Important Screening Criteria:

- Minimum 6 years exclusive backend Python experience
- No profiles with primary experience in frontend development or data science
- Must demonstrate project experience in all mandatory skills listed above

Interview Process: 2 rounds, including onsite
