understand and respond to customer needs Job Summary As a Senior Software Engineer in the Conversational AI Chatbot team you will be responsible for designing and developing AI-driven solutions that improve customer engagement through intelligent chatbots You will collaborate closely with product managers UX designers and data scientists to create conversational interfaces that enhance the overall customer experience streamline operations and drive business success Roles Responsibilities Core Responsibilities Design Development Architect design and implement scalable conversational AI solutions including chatbots and virtual assistants that provide exceptional customer experiences Collaboration Work closely with UX UI designers data scientists product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional AI applications Code Quality Write clean maintainable and efficient code Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development Integration Integrate conversational AI solutions with existing systems databases and APIs to enhance the performance and functionality of the applications Testing Deployment Implement comprehensive testing strategies including unit testing integration testing and user acceptance testing Oversee deployment and ensure the reliability of the systems post-launch Research Innovation Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in conversational AI and machine learning Propose innovative solutions and improvements to existing processes and features Mentorship Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team Years of Experience 5 years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on AI machine learning and natural language processing NLP preferably on conversational AI Chatbot 5 years of experience on creating and managing Java Python microservices 2 years of experience developing and implementing chatbot system for an organization 2 years of experience on supporting and optimizing production level environments Education Qualification Certifications optional Required Minimum Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field Skill Set RequiredPrimary Skills must have Proficiency in developing Java Python microservices esp using Stomp framework or websockets for conversational applications Designing scalable and dependable chatbot systems by integrating natural language processing machine learning models or dialogue management techniques e g Rasa Dialogflow Microsoft Bot Framework Experience with integrating AI ML frameworks e g TensorFlow PyTorch NLTK Familiarity with cloud platforms preferably Google Cloud and deployment of AI models in a cloud environment Experience with CI CD tools such as Docker and Kubernetes Experience with collaborative planning and defect tracking through Bitbucket GitHub Working knowledge of tools for monitoring and alerting such as Kibana Grafana etc Secondary Skills desired Familiarity with Pyspark big data and batch processing frameworks for data handling Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills capable of explaining complex concepts
