Senior Software Engineer – Java, Typescript, Python

Job Requisition ID 25WD90602 Position Overview Autodesk is seeking a passionate and skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our new Developers Tooling team The ideal candidate will have expertise in server-side technologies and hands-on experience in full-stack development with deep expertise in AWS technologies hands-on experience in TypeScript Node js Python and or Java and a proven track record of delivering high-quality scalable software solutions As a Senior Software Engineer you will help build maintain and support internal developer tools that streamline API publishing and automate documentation delivery These tools enhance engineering productivity and improve consistency across Autodesk Responsibilities Design develop and deploy secure and scalable internal developer tooling including APIs and CI CD workflows enhancing existing components as necessary to meet project requirements Collaborate with engineers product managers and cross-functional partners to define implement and deliver features Write clean maintainable and well-tested code with a focus on reliability and performance Contribute to architectural discussions and provide implementation input under the guidance of senior staff Support and enhance CI CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Spinnaker Contribute to observability and monitoring for internal services using tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems Take end-to-end ownership of assigned features from design to deployment collaborating closely with tech leads and peers Minimum Qualifications Bachelor s degree in computer science Engineering or a related field 5 years of experience in software engineering including building production applications on large-scale AWS cloud infrastructure e g Lambda DynamoDB ECS RDS S3 Proficiency in TypeScript and Python Experience with Maven and Java Programming Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices Solid understanding of CI CD practices and experience with tools like Jenkins and Spinnaker Preferred Qualifications Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases including RDS and DynamoDB Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk LI-CL1 Learn More About Autodesk Welcome to Autodesk Amazing things are created every day with our software - from the greenest buildings and cleanest cars to the smartest factories and biggest hit movies We help innovators turn their ideas into reality transforming not only how things are made but what can be made We take great pride in our culture here at Autodesk - it s at the core of everything we do Our culture guides the way we work and treat each other informs how we connect with customers and partners and defines how we show up in the world When you re an Autodesker you can do meaningful work that helps build a better world designed and made for all Ready to shape the world and your future Join us Salary transparency Salary is one part of Autodesk s competitive compensation package Offers are based on the candidate s experience and geographic location In addition to base salaries our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses commissions for sales roles stock grants and a comprehensive benefits package Diversity Belonging We take pride in cultivating a culture of belonging where everyone can thrive Learn more here Are you an existing contractor or consultant with Autodesk Please search for open jobs and apply internally not on this external site
